Last mile e-solutions for the post
The era of e-mobility is an unstoppable reality and is here to stay. There is social, business and political awareness of the need to adopt sustainable transport models, and the new light electric vehicles have a fundamental role to play here. Cities are also evolving. There are fewer cars and vans and more pedestrian zones and low-speed streets where there is more space for pedestrians, scooters, e-bikes, e-cargo bikes and mopeds and less for larger vehicles. At the same time, the growing demand for e-commerce is driving the move from letters to bulky packages. Sustainability, cities without vans and a greater volume of packages undoubtedly make last-mile delivery operations a challenge, for which Scoobic provides different solutions that will be introduced in the presentation.
