The portable post office is an all-in-one device, ideal for postal operators. One device can complete all the tasks performed at a post office, making it suited for post offices, franchises, mobile units and PUDO locations. The portable post office accepts parcels, letters, express mail service (EMS) and courier packages; processes mail including bagging, despatch, receipt and delivery; provides agency services including collections and disbursements on behalf of third-party businesses; and offers track and trace, postal wallets, post box hiring and renewal, and instant, commercial and self-branded money transfer.
The cost-effective and affordable device has the latest features to enable speedy completion of tasks by operators. It has a 2D and QR code scanner, offers biometric security and facilitates all payment modes with online wallet payment, a card swiper and a card chip and NFC reader. Offering all-day battery life and receipt printing, the Android operating system works with wi-fi and cellular networks and is 3G and 4G enabled. It is fully integrated into Reason Solutions’ PostGlobal software, which is fully integrated with the UPU’s IPS and CDS systems.
