Transformation from the First to the last Mile

Eduardo Herrera García
Chief operating officer
Correos
Spain
Correos has taken a crucial step in its transformation process to become a global logistics operator. It is called Correos Cargo, a regular airline that already connects Madrid and Hong Kong, with a frequency of two flights per week, which will be increased by another one shortly. This air cargo service together with the start-up of the commercial customs, completes and closes our end-to-end service between China and Spain. Correos Cargo is not only another step in our internationalization process, but it is part of the transformation that the company is carrying out to face the unstoppable fall of letters

If all collapses overnight, how to adapt to whatever situation

Mart Mägi
CEO
Omniva - Estonian Post AS
Estonia
The presentation will address, if all collapses overnight, how to adapt to whatever situation – even to the war situation in Ukraine, by continuing to deliver under extreme and risky circumstances. For years, as a last-mile service, Omniva has been delivering postal and parcel service to Ukraine from all over the world, as well as delivering from Ukraine to countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. February 24, 2022 came as a shock to the whole world as well as to Omniva. Even though the red flag was up, as with so many others, Omniva was shocked about the occurrence of the unthinkable. Here is our story!

Taking the leap or going by the book?

Valentin Ștefan
CEO
Romanian Post
Romania
Posts around the world are on a race to become the first consumer choice and find THE digital model. But what if you have a lot of catching up to do? Do you plunge in and challenge the system, or go by the book and risk being too late? Time pressure drives quick investment but generates many gaps and a risk of slow organizational adjustment to change, while the thorough analysis and steady decision making process requires many resources and impacts a company’s agility. Valentin will speak about weighing these risks and what the best solution for Romanian Post is.
